A Tale of Two Mothers

Mothers CAN have an enormous influence over their children. A mother who has a strong moral character and a gentle demeanor can communicate with a child better than just about anyone. In this lesson we want to view two cases of motherhood. The first resulted in shame, the second resulted in honor.

The Properties Of Love

As divine and important as love is, we sometimes feel and act as though our love for others is wearing thin. The church in Corinth faced that problem. They had divine gifts and superb teachers, and yet Paul dealt with several problems that indicated their love for one another was wearing thin. And then, like a beautiful flower that blooms in the desert, Paul described the love of God. Paul showed us that when love is wearing thin the solution is to speak of God’s love more often and more emphatically. Follow along in this series of lessons from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
