It is easier to rejoice when everything is going well. There are few Christians who will “sing in the pain”, but we’re going to remember two who did (Acts 16).

The Israelites were commanded to use instruments of music while making their sacrifices to God (burnt and peace offereings). When the sacrifices were finished, the playing of the instruments ceased and the people began to sing praises, bow their heads and worship God. Since Jesus is our one and only sacrifice for sins, how are Christians commanded to respond to His work of atonement?
