Our new year’s resolutions often end in resignations because they require change, & change is so very difficult to bring about. Resolutions require resolve: making up your mind, determination, steadfastness, tenacity, doggedness, & firmness (sounds like work). Let’s look as some admonitions from God’s word that encourage us to “Make Every Effort” to grow spiritually closer to God.

Making Changes (2 Chron 29-30)
